The Athlete Development Program (ADP) is a part of the Leadership Project that is specifically designed for collegiate athletes. ADP is created so that athletes are challenged not only in the weight rooms and in their workouts, but also engage on the issues of being a Christian athlete and leader on their teams and campuses. This program has been developed by a professional athletic trainer and a team of experienced athletic trainers and former D1 athletes lead this program.
Why train with ADP this summer?
ADP provides accountability and improves your athletic skill through training with other athletes.
Because we believe that desire and passion are an integral part of being both an athlete and a Christian, we want to help generate a passion for God and a desire to play as unto the Lord.
We believe in an integrated approach to training where the spiritual and the physical work together.
Finally, we hope that ADP will set our athletes on fire with a passion for God, extending to their teams and campuses.
Structure
Each athlete will work a part-time job in order to accommodate time for all training needed, and athletes will have time daily to complete all of their needed workouts and sport specific training.
Each students athlete on the Leadership Project has personal summer workout regimen that is developed by their coaches. If there isn’t one specified, we work with professional trainers to develop personalized summer regimen based on their sport and their goals. All athletes are held accountable to these regimens while on the Leadership Project.
Being an athlete will only be part of their summer identity. They are still responsible for being part of the flow of the project by influencing and being influenced by other non-athletes on the project.
Each athlete will have multiple evaluations to track their progress and set the course for the upcoming weeks.
